Graduation
Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14
How We Engage
Celebrating Our Graduates: Honor, Joy, and New Beginnings – At the Forest Hill Church of Christ, we believe that every milestone reached is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the hard work of our students. Our Graduation Program is a dedicated ministry designed to recognize, celebrate, and encourage our high school and college graduates as they transition into their next season of life. It is a special time for our entire church family to “share the joy” of these significant educational accomplishments and cover our students in prayer and support.
Our festivities typically feature two days of celebration:
- A formal Graduation Ceremony and Dinner held on the 2nd Saturday in June.
- Graduate Sunday: The celebration continues the following morning immediately after our worship service, where we recognize our graduates before the full congregation.

Health Fair
How We Engage
From Awareness to Action: Our Bi-Annual Health Fair What began as two focused initiatives—Purple Tea for breast cancer and Honor Thy Father for prostate cancer—has blossomed into a cornerstone event for our community. Originally rooted in cancer awareness and education, this ministry has expanded its mission to care for the “whole person.” Today, our Bi-Annual Health Fair is a comprehensive wellness event designed to empower our congregation and neighbors with the tools they need to lead healthier, more vibrant lives.
What to Expect
This isn’t just an information session; it’s a hands-on opportunity to take charge of your well-being. The fair provides a welcoming environment where attendees can access:
- Screenings: On-site services in a variety of areas.
- Education: Informational booths on chronic disease prevention, mental health, and nutrition.
- Professional Referrals: Connections to local healthcare providers and specialized clinics.
- Community Resources: Information on fitness programs, support groups, and social services.
Our Mission: While our roots are in cancer advocacy, our goal today is to address the diverse health challenges facing our community. By providing education, services, and referrals, we aim to eliminate barriers to care and reflect God’s desire for us to “prosper and be in health.”
Singers
How We Engage
At the Forest Hill Church of Christ, we believe that music is a powerful vessel for worship and a profound way to encourage one another. Our two primary adult ensembles—The Forest Hill Singers and the Forest Hill Male Singers—are dedicated to praising God and edifying the body of Christ through song. Whether we are visiting sister congregations for 1st Sunday Fellowship Singings or hosting our own 5th Sunday events, our mission remains the same: to lift up the name of the Lord and strengthen our community.
Our Annual Musical: A Yearly Highlight
The centerpiece of our ministry is our Annual Musical, a grand celebration that brings the entire community together. This high-energy event is typically held the 2nd Saturday in October and features:
- Powerful Praise: Uplifting performances by our adult ensembles.
- The Next Generation: Special features from our talented youth singing groups, “Chosen” and the Forest Hill Youth Singers.
- Special Guests: Guest ensembles from across the region joining us in worship.
- Honor & History: Unique segments where we pay tribute to legendary singers and reflect on the rich history of a cappella music in the church.
Above all, our musical is a time to “have a great time in the Lord” and celebrate the joy that comes through faithful song. We invite you to join us at our next event and experience the spirit of Forest Hill for yourself!

Men’s Breakfast
How We Engage
Start your Saturday with food, faith, and fellowship! Our Men’s Breakfast is a quarterly gathering designed to strengthen our bonds as a church family and ground us in the truth of Scripture.
These four Saturday morning events are more than just a meal—they are a time of joyful fellowship where we come together to:
Engage in singing, praying receiving an encouraging and challenging message from God’s Word, and hearing the latest updates on upcoming events and operations around the church.
A Special Note: While three of our breakfasts are dedicated specifically to the men of the congregation, one breakfast each year is a combined Men’s and Women’s event, welcoming the whole church family to the table.
Check our church calendar for the next scheduled date—we’d love to save a seat for our members!

Ladies Events
How We Engage
The Forest Hill Ladies Ministry exists to encourage and strengthen women of all ages through faith, fellowship, and real life support. Through meaningful teaching, honest conversation, and time spent together, we build sisterhood that helps women grow in Christ and stay connected throughout the year.
Two of our biggest opportunities to do that are our Annual Ladies Day, a refreshing half day gathering filled with worship, encouragement, and joyful connection, and our Annual Ladies Retreat, a weekend set apart for rest, reflection, renewal, and deeper bonds with one another. Whether you can join us for one event or both, you will be welcomed, uplifted, and reminded that you are not walking this journey alone.
Annual Ladies’ Day at Forest Hill
Renew your spirit! Join us for a day of sisterhood, growth, and joy! The Annual Ladies’ Day at Forest Hill Church of Christ is more than just an event; it’s an energetic, half-day retreat designed to pour back into the women of our community.
Whether you are seeking deep spiritual insight or a morning of lighthearted fellowship, this program offers a perfect balance of both. Our goal is simple: that every woman walks away inspired, informed, and equipped with a fresh fire to live for Christ.
What to Expect
- Dynamic Speakers: Scriptural teaching tailored to the modern woman.
- Worship & Song: Uplifting congregational singing that stirs the soul.
- Interactive Fun: Engaging activities and exciting door prizes throughout the morning.
- Fellowship Lunch: Stay for a delicious meal and great conversation following the program.
A Special Place for Every Generation
We believe in mentoring the next generation of Christian women. During the morning session, our teens and younger girls will split into their own breakout groups for age-appropriate activities and lessons, making this a wonderful opportunity for mothers, daughters, and grandmothers to grow together.
Come as you are, and leave with a renewed heart!
