Saving Souls and Keeping Souls Saved
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” – Matthew 28: 19-20
How We Serve
At Forest Hill Church of Christ, we exist to share the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in building genuine relationships and sharing the “Good News” of Jesus Christ right here in our own backyard.
How we serve our community:
- Personal Connection: We offer one-on-one Bible studies for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
- Open Doors: We warmly invite our friends and neighbors to join us in our weekly assemblies.
- Community Outreach: You’ll find us walking our neighborhoods, eager to meet and talk with our neighbors.
- Natural Faith: We empower our members to share their hope with friends and family in everyday life.
In 2025, we were blessed to see 43 people baptized for the remission of their sins and added to the Lord’s church. We remain committed to our serious mission: Saving souls and keeping souls saved.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
— Matthew 28:19-20
How We Serve
We partner with World Bible School to provide free, interactive Bible studies to thousands of people across the globe. By acting as a bridge between the Word and the world, we offer students two flexible ways to learn:
- Postal Lessons: Physical study materials.
- Online Courses: Digital lessons accessible anywhere.
How We Engage
Our congregation connects personally with students through the Study Helper program. This isn’t just an automated course; it is a spiritual “pen-pal” relationship where our members:
- Mentor: Grade lessons and provide direct feedback.
- Support: Answer difficult questions and offer personal encouragement.
- Evangelize: Build relationships that lead many to faith and baptism.

How We Serve
Through our partnership with Mission Resource Network (MRN), we support the Atlantic Bridge Initiative (ABI-1). This vital program focuses on building transformative relationships between African-American church leaders and church leaders across the continent of Africa.
How We Engage
Our own Senior Minister, Bro. Emanuel White, Sr., has traveled to Ghana through this initiative and established relationships with several congregations there. Our congregation also provides financial support, prayer, and leadership involvement to ensure these bridges of faith remain strong. These partnerships deepen our understanding of global Christianity and strengthen our shared commitment to ministry beyond our local community.
