CONGREGATIONAL CARE GROUPS
At Huntington SDA Church, our Congregational Care Groups (CCGs) ensure every member feels valued, supported, and connected. Each group is led by a dedicated elder who provides spiritual guidance, prayer, and practical care. Through regular check-ins and meaningful interactions, the CCGs foster a sense of belonging and community, helping us grow together in faith and love.
The congregation is divided into five groups based on the members’ last names. Each group is assigned an elder who is responsible for overseeing the spiritual care, engagement, and well-being of the members in their group. This structure allows for a more personal and focused pastoral care experience, creating a closer-knit church community where no member is overlooked.
Furthermore, you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens. – Exodus 18:21
